Stroke No Respect For Age Gender or Race.



Stroke can affect anybody regardless of age and gender. The common belief is that stroke only affects the elderly. But studies have proven that this isnt the case. Whit this discovery it is important that we safeguard ourselves with the right knowledge to prevent and deal with stroke if it does occour.

Although stroke can affect anybody, it is more common amongst the elderly, people with high blood pressure, smokers, diabetics and people with weight problems.

Young people are not immune to stroke about a quater of stroke victims are under sixty-five.
Drugs and alcohol play a big part in people amonst this population having stroke. This is becoming more wide spread and people in this age range have to start taking better care of their bodies so as not to risk a future stroke.


The best way to beat stroke is not to give it a chace at all. That means start now. Your diet and fitness level are the two biggest factors to consider. Yeah lets not forget smoking, alcohol consumption and drugs. Nowadays its important that young people get the right information and take preventive measures and live long enjoyabe lives.

Parents need to educate their children so they know how to take care of their bodies, and know what the symptoms of stroke are. Early detection can prevent a stroke and greaty improve the quality of life of a person.


If you are a parent, you need to show your children the facts now so that they are in a good understanding of what they have to look out for later on in life. You have to help them lead their life in the right direction and get them to know that this is a serious problem and it can be stopped before it happens.
